Feet and other things

After our meeting on Sunday, Neil and Jo wrote:

Today at our meeting together we spent time washing each other's feet - as Jesus says:

"Now that I your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another's feet. I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you." (John 13:14-15)

It was a time of service and worship but it became even more poi tenet when we as adults ambled to the bowl and made excuses for our dirty feet whilst the children lined up to have their feet washed and began washing each others, whilst questioning why we need to do this.

It's so true that "the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." (Matthew 19:14)
