RIP - Supercat bites the dust!

Yesterday was a sad day in the Dryden household. We had to lay our 2 year old cat, Red to rest, this after discovering that his kidney's were failing and his body was slowly being poisened. We had no choice but to put him down...it really sucked!

The ultra sad thing was the 'knowing' - we knew the day and the time he was gonna go. The night before 'the time he had his last special meal, which he couldn't really eat anyway. In the morning we prayed and thanked God for the blessing he had been in our lives and then it was time. Charise took him to the Vet and I looked after Skylar and Terryn.

About 40min later Charise returned, his body still warm and we buried him. Terryn was quite keen to see and touch, but Skylar was pretty torn up and chose to have a good cry in the corner of the garden! Just watching the kids responding to all of this was enough for me - I was tickets!

Our other cat Blue is sure gonna miss Red!
