Work!

Today is a public holiday in South Africa and I am working! Charise and the kids have gone to the beach with some friends, making the most of this incredible day in Cape Town, and I am working! Life was so much easier when I was a full time, paid minister of the gospel - I wouldn't be 'working' on a day like this. My decision (inspired by God) to leave "supported" ministry about six months ago has not been an easy one, but I most certainly wouldn't change it right now. Although I am having to work today, I am ever grateful...I feel more normal, more human and somehow more able to 'die' in this life that God has called me to live. Will I ever be a 'paid' minister again? I have absolutely no idea! (All views expressed in this post are entirely my own views and not at all intended to get up any paid ministers nose!)
