Lost Luggage

Got an email from Andrew & Debbie who are on holiday in Spain at the moment. (I don't think I ever told you how they got to going on this trip, they bought a digital camera at the beginning of the year, and won this holiday. How's that!) Anyway, any travellers worst nightmare is to have their luggage lost and unfortunately this was the case (excuse the pun! ha ha) for them. Hopefully by now they have their stuff.

This reminded me of a true story told by two good friends of ours, in fact it happened to them whilst on honeymoon. He had booked some two week trip thing floating down some river in the middle of Africa. They had to fly to the starting point of this trip and their luggage got lost. The nightmare really began when they realised that her contraceptives were amongst the lost items, and being in the middle of nowhere made it impossible to purchase any. Because of their passion for God and their desire to walk in holiness, they had never been 'together' and they weren't willing to risk having children yet. So they chose not to engage in any activity that would compromise this, in fact they didn't even look at each others 'nakedness' whilst having to shower in a stick/shack type shower. Wow! So you can image how keen they were to get home.
