More Meetings?

I am sitting here in the office alone. Andrew and Debbie are on Holiday in Spain and I am waiting for clients to either approve designs, or send me info etc. It's funny how we tend to go through times of extreme busyness and stress and then other times of quiet, where nothing really seems to be going down at all. Such is the rhythm of life!

Yesterday our little community got together. Spent some time worshipping (with music), some time talking about Him and His Word. It was good. I mentioned a discussion that Charise and I had the night before about whether our church sees each other enough during the week or not. The easiest thing for us to do is to 'start' another meeting to 'fill' the 'gap', and to try and be the solution. Anyway, everyone was very much for allowing these things to happening in a real and authentic way, rather than relying on a system to make sure they happen. This was great and I was encouraged by this attitude; we all know that talk is easy and that the real challenge lies in actually believing it and actually doing it. (It's not my intention to sound cynical)

As a community we have so much to learn, so much individualism to get rid of and so much of the kingdom yet to understand. I am encouraged in the fact the He who has begun this good work is faithful and more than able to complete it, and so grateful that it is not all up to me. Thank God!
