Sunday Fog

One of our new friends that we have made from the housing community that we live in came and joined in our house church meeting this morning. It was a cool time for all of us just to chat and catch up on all the holiday highs and lows, we read some stuff, sung a song. It was a bit a of strange time come to think of it (it's normal to have these every now and again)
I would probably have felt more comfortable standing behind a pulpit and 'doing' a preach and singing a couple of glory hallelujahs. Anyway, this new friend of ours absolutely loved the time and wants to join us again next week. Sorry did I miss something? Yeh, I should probably be repenting right now.
Is it possible that we have become familiar with the Life and Love of God to the point that we appear bored? Bored not because God's Life and Love aren't incredibly exciting, but bored because of a 'seasoned' and 'matured' inability to see Him and what He brings clearly. The self perpetuated fog of familiarity hung low today. Hopefully...prayerfully...the weather will improve.
