Life as a House

The last couple of days has been a whirlwind of emotion. We found a house and put in an offer on Saturday. It is quite an amazing story which I will probably post more about if the offer is actually gets accepted. The property belongs to an old couple and they are ultra cautious with any legal issues (this is fully understandable at their age), and have gotten their lawyers involved in the whole process. As a result there are some things in the contract that they are not happy with and we need to meet with the agent to sort it out today. So, we are waiting...it kind of feels like...how I would imagine it to feel...like awaiting a court verdict after been falsely accused for murdering your sickly mother in-law.

Charise hasn't thrown her whole heart into this thing like I have...she is wiser than me... so if it doesn't work out, I am really going to be disappointed and she will probably have to end up holding me tight, whilst spoon feeding me chicken soup and singing hush-a-bye-baby...

More on this soon.
