UK Trip

Quite a few things happening this week in preparation for our UK trip. Good to see that the Rand/Pound exchange has improved for us over the last few days - If we were to buy a can of Coke in London at 90p, it would be the equivalent of paying R 10.80 here in SA. We normally pay around R 4 for a can here.

One big bummer though...This will be the second year in a row that I will have missed our wedding anniversary, last year I was also in the UK over this time. On the 16 March, Charise and I would have been married for a whole 8 years. What an amazing experience it has been since walking down the isle as two ignorant 21 year olds. She is the rose amongst the thorn!

Anyway, Andrew and I will be spending time in Andover connecting with friends, the Church Planting Conference will be in Coventry at The Village Hotel and Leisure Club, we will also be connecting with Steve & Tammy Gee in Northampton as well as popping into London for the day before we fly out. All this packed into 10 days, should be fun.
