A short while back, we had the privilege of joining Fred & Yolande in a ceremony of book burning! Books that posed as the truth, but were far from the Truth came face to face with the violent flames of the South African braai (barbecue for the rest of the world).

Fred & Yolande are going through a time of wonderful transformation in God and this ceremony was just part of their discipleship process.

Here Fred is talking about the one book in particular that had a huge effect on his life and basically caused him to doubt in God and the Bible.

We were really getting into the burning thing and started on some CD's....until the neighbour starting hurling insults at us for making such a stench.

Notice: it's only guys around the fire - guys dig burning and destroying stuff! Oooh, it was lovely!

If I didn't know God, I would probably be a convicted pyromaniac by now!
