John Paul reborn as "Incredible Popeman"

Just when you thought you had seen it all...

"BOGOTA, Colombia - Pope John Paul II is being reborn in a Colombian comic book as a superhero battling evil with an anti-devil cape and special chastity pants.

The first episode of the "Incredible Popeman" is about to go on sale in Colombia and shows the late Polish pontiff meeting comic book legends such as Batman and Superman to learn how to use superpowers to battle Satan."

I watched a story on this the other night and thought, "Gee this guys really taken the gap here...you've gotta give it to him." Also, while watching the funeral today a BBC reporter made an interesting comment, basically saying that John Paul's popularity will rapidly increase, now that he is dead.

Just wondering how popular the Popeman figurines will be with the kids?
